Cultural bites Monday.
I spent an hour or more everyday at one Spanish coffee shop or another. Small family run cafes with a plate of the day menu, Euro-chain coffee shops, Mom and Pop coffee shops, coffee shops in the North of Spain, in Southern Spain, East and West. But never a Starbucks. That was my only rule; no Starbucks.
In more than two years, I saw coffee ordered in a To Go cup exactly twice, by the same woman.
